Our mission is to provide direct assistance to the families of deployed service men and women.

On 7 August, 1942 a 20 year old Marine of the First Marine Division set foot on a small relatively unknown piece of coral in the Solomon Islands called Guadalcanal.

Thus began a horrific three month siege that decimated the Division but ultimately turned the tide of war in the Pacific.

We are proud to honor the memory of our father, Francis DeSales Walsh, and all those who ever waded into battle by introducing the Combat Landing Foundation.

Vets-Cars and VetFLeet will be the primary funding sources.
